The origin of this slot is the Wednesday one-off drama "Love is a Mystery Theater," which aired from October 1984 to March 1986 . The program was retitled "Wednesday Drama Special" from April 1986 and continued broadcasting, ending in September 1987 .

Saturday Drama Special 1988-1989

Dramatic 22 - 1989-2001
